Los phrasal verbs son una parte esencial del inglés coloquial y cotidiano. Estas expresiones verbales, formadas por un verbo y una o varias partículas, pueden cambiar significados y añadir matices a las frases en las que se utilizan.

Go on (Continue) – Continuar:
The meeting will go on despite the rain. > La reunión continuará a pesar de la lluvia.2.
Take off (Remove) – Quitar:
Please, take off your shoes before entering the house. > Por favor, quítate los zapatos antes de entrar en la casa.
Turn on (Activate) – Encender:
I’ll turn on the lights so we can see better. > Encenderé las luces para que podamos ver mejor.
Put off (Postpone) – Posponer:
They decided to put off the trip until next week. > Decidieron posponer el viaje hasta la próxima semana.
Get up (Rise from bed) – Levantarse:

Bring up (Mention) – Mencionar /Sacar a relucir:

Look for (Search) – Buscar:

Run out of (Exhaust supply) – Quedarse sin algo:

Pick up (Collect) – Recoger:

Look forward to (Anticipate) – Esperar con ilusión:
